Unless you have felt the stinging kiss of the Mouldmaster during a PE lesson on a witheringly cold day, while wearing shorts that amounted to little more than a piece of elastic and in an environment that was a torture camp in all but name, you cannot truly say that your time on this earth has been justified.

Google Font Directory

Another new announcement by Google - open source fonts served from Google servers, ready to be used on any website. Super-easy to integrate, though there’s not a huge selection of fonts just yet.

Chrome Web Store

Interesting announcement by Google - “An open marketplace for web apps”. Not clear on how developers could sell their web apps though.

Balsamiq Mockups

I’ve started using this great app to create UI mockups. You can get a layout knocked-up really quickly, and - importantly - the ‘sketchy’ style makes it obvious to the client it’s just a wireframe - so they’re not compelled to form opinions on the look and feel.

As an aside, why is the font rendering on Adobe AIR apps so bad?…

Lovely representation of the solar system using CSS3 border-radius, transforms and animations. Works best in WebKit browsers.
